"This was a most awful experience and Expedia did not make it right. I booked my hotel stay with Expedia at the Baymont by Wyndham in South Bend Indiana for June 15, 2026. The photographs online looked nice and the place looked clean. "The young man at the desk was very friendly and kind (AND I have to mention a ginger with blue eyes!) Very nice young man and helpful as well. Breakfast was awful. I know it's free so shouldn't complain but, ice cold eggs and sausage. They were even in a warmer. Otherwise the room was nice, the bed comfy anr/ .shower was great."

"Staff was great. Office closes at 10pm so make sure if you run out to you car you have your key. Outside in the back were I walked the dog looked like a homeless camp. Parking lot very dirty. We had no power so didn’t have many choices with a dog. Price was great and lots of food options close"

"The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was both a hot buffet with sausage, scrambled eggs, bagels and toast, and continental. Rooms had refrigerators and microwave ovens. The price was reasonable. There were plenty of restaurants of all types nearby. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to everyone!"

"Our four night stay at the Avanti House in the Kellogg Room (room#7) was amazing, they had everything we could need including private bath, common rooms, and kitchen with toaster oven/microwave, and everything you need for coffee/tea and snacks"

"The desk staff was great, very friendly and accomodating. The room was clean and quiet. The room keys only worked sometimes which was annoying. The toilet seat was loose. There was no hair dryer or coffee maker in the room and towel racks would have been nice. The breakfast was typical for a hotel. The location is good with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. "

"I could be wrong but it appears this building is used as a homeless shelter! Pulled in and there were multiple drug deals going on in the parking lot. Room was decent, bath tub was filthy and the halls smelled like marijuana at all times of the day and night!"
