"Pilot Mountain Glamping Resort was a great weekend retreat for my fiancé’s birthday. Great location. We hiked at Hanging Rock State Park. We really enjoyed the deck with the Blackstone Griddle and fire pit. We had pancakes and bacon off the griddle for breakfast one morning, and hotdogs for dinner one night. S’mores later that evening over the fire pit topped off a great day. Jack was responsive to the only issue we raised and it was quickly resolved."

"The interior was immaculate, plenty of socializing space. Still new, so some future features were still off line - the restaurant, tap wall, courtyard etc. The suite was spacious and well appointed, liked the robes and the record player, needs some more pop and romantic albums. I missed a full facial tissue box and my hotel lament, no clock, I don’t sleep with my phone. I would definitely recommend the property."

"We selected this hotel based on the recent reviews, combined with the fact that the room was cheaper than the Hampton, where we usually stay when traveling. "The room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable and the ac cold. It was the perfect location for us. It was confusing to find, because the sign was wrong. The place has seen better days and needs a complete upgrade. The exterior stairway was very shaky and almost dangerous! We stayed two days and it worked for us, but we were deceived by the pics in Expedia! The staff was great, but some of the tenants were a little bit worrisome. "This is NOT a high end hotel, but it is very cozy. The overall appearance of the place was nice. Check in was easy. There are no room keys, but a pin/code. Luckily, the employee had it written down.
