"This hotel is a landmark and was built in 1886. They offer a free tour of the hotel which I would recommend. It's very well maintained while keeping all it's original charm. Downtown location is perfect - we did not need a car to get around the city. Staff well very helpful, courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel!!!"

"Overall, stay was phenomenal, staff was accommodating and friendly. Hotel offerings included a welcome beverage, a free happy hour beverage, free coffee from the cafe in the morning. Option to not have your room cleaned for credit on your stay. As well as a $10 food & Bev credit per day. There is construction in the area but they provide noise cancelling machines and earplugs but we only turned the machine on once so wasn’t bad at all. "As always, my room was clean and well supplied. The air-conditioning in my room was cooling, but was not cooling as well as it should have been. I didn’t bring it up to management because by the time I discovered this, I was unpacked and settled. My 100 year old mother was with me and for her the air-conditioning was sufficient. I didn’t want to be disturbed by having Maintenance in our room so I simply lowered the thermostat as low as it would go and made do."
