"Our room was nice. But our friends room aircon was faulty. It was on one of heat wave days and the hotel had service personel on site to reset it. Staff didn't really seem to know what was going on. It appeared like the hotel was lacking senior management. Some drinks we sold out at the bar and they had no snacks. But all in all, stay was good for us. Just our friends room was like a sauna."

"Fantastic staff at reception on all shifts,doing over expectations. The housekeeper on level 4 very considerate and wanting to help. Now the reason it gets 4 not 5. For the 1st time the cooked breakfast swas exactly the same for the 3 mornings: scrambled eggs, same sausages,had brown,tomatoes, bacon. Other have stopped the eggs for fried or omelette and mushrooms or tomatoes. Individual yogurts, boiled eggs and milk in a fridge. I have mentioned this to the morning Receptionist when I left."

Didn't know how to open the windows, thought they needed keys, but they didn't. We're from Canada so the windows are different. Luckily we had a fan in the room to help us sleep the 1st night. "As an older property built in 1799 it was wonderful. The building was quaint and clean. It was outdated in decoration but that is what adds to it's charm. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The biggest issue we had was the water pressure. Our shower was barely a trickle and made it hard to take a shower. Otherwise our stay was Wonderful!"
