"The hotel is quite retro, think faded grandeur. The staff were very helpful and there is a free shuttle bus to the train station you can book which is very welcome with all the bags. We stayed in the Japanese room and the staff came to lay out the beds beautifully whilst we were dining. The big plus for this hotel is the onsen and outdoor foot bath cafe with a view. We went on a busy weekend but there was plenty of space and everyone was very friendly to me and my daughter. We had half board...
