"My husband and I vacationed at this hotel on October 21-27, 2024. And from the very beginning, we were in for a lot of disappointments: 1) they checked us into a room with cigarette butts and the smell of cigarettes. 2) they changed the room, but now it had a broken toilet wrapped in red tape. 3) the website says that there is a choice between 4 a la carte restaurants, but in fact we came on the very first day and were told that there was no choice and they could only enroll us in a fish...

"3 good things : house keeping, the swimming pool and the staff at the restaurants … other wise 1- my room in first tower had a bad sewage smell from the sink and I had called for it , solution was draining but it continued to smell I gave up 2- reception desk : attitude - they are like kings no smile , very rigid , and overall unhelpful we asked to switch rooms and they were unhelpful 3- no one explains l to you anything about the amenities and you have to figure it out on your own 4 Swandor app...

"Architecture of the hotel specifically lobby is magnificent. Rooms are pretty outdated. Facilities are very far from the lobby. Game center is out of service and indoor pool is under maintenance. Quality of food and variety is really good and staff at restaurants are very helpful and great. Air conditioning was not working and we had to change the room after me insisting several times to the point that i was really disappointed. "I stayed for two nights in June 2026 and had a great stay at the Ritz. It’s in a really convenient location - the major sights are just a short cab ride away, and there’s a ferry landing that’s a short walk away if you want to explore the Asian side of Istanbul.
