"We had a wonderful weekend in Bournemouth at the Royal Exeter. We were especially happy with the hospitality of the staff in the 1812 bar. The happy hour is generous and good value. Breakfast was great too. Would recommend There was of course sound from the bar/nightclub but wasn’t too bad. We were on the 2nd floor"

"I mean I would stay there again but I found some of the staff so rude and blunt to be honest although val and Jeff were absolutely lovely! Breakfast was okay although you only got like 1 item per thing on the menu which I thought was abit rubbish but great for a free breakfast "

"Overall, we had a great time (in 2 of the cottage rooms). The hotel is well located for the beach and walks to restaurants etc. The rooms were big and the beds were too (and comfortable). The staff were friendly and helpful. The car park costs were good compared to other local car parks albeit we were lucky getting a space at the Marriott car park - there are others very close by, however. Alas, we had a wait for our cottage rooms to be available (4:30pm) but were given a couple of drinks...
