"Checking in it was good. We got in the room to rest and refresh to go to the pool to my surprise I got in the shower and the body wash and shampoo in the shower it was empty good thing I always bring some. When I saw the housekeeper I ask if she can please refill the shampoo and body wash she said she didn’t have it in her cart she’ll have somebody bring it to the room never happened. They need to check rooms before checking in people. Also staff not the best service and communication skills...

"Fantastic location with a view and a spectacular sunset....along with non-stop freeway noise. Everything else is very retro, which is great, but the staff seemed overworked and a bit gruff. Food is great."

"Our stay was short but overall is was good. Our room faced the 101 fwy and was super noisy. It was drowned out a bit by the excessively loud AC unit in the room."

"Nice ocean view room. Third flood. Staff was nice, but they need more people here. That may be everywhere though. Valets were great and the food was good in the restaurant. The ocean makes the place. Right on the beach great waves. We will come back. "

"Easy location. Close to downtown shops and restaurants. Walkable or you can borrow bikes from motel. Nice pool area with comfortable lounge chairs and cool fire pit. Lots of tables/chairs around property to sit and enjoy your surroundings. Modern rooms, and cute lobby with fabulous lounge area. Nice coffee and tea selection in the morning. 5 min drive to great hiking spot to see the pink mountains at sunset (can view from hotel, but unobstructed spectacular from this hiking path on Shelf Road). "

"I was disappointed they charge for $15 for daily parking bc they are not in a area where parking is limited, I found a bug in my room and when I went to move the nightstand to kill it, I saw how the floor was so dirty which is why that is probably attracting bugs. The showers had to be shut extra tight bc it drips. I did appreciate the water at the lobby n staff was very nice "
