"Overall, I had a good stay. The room itself was great, and the AC had no problem keeping me comfortable during those hot Mississippi days. The staff was excellent, everyone I encountered was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel itself could use some updating. The interior looked and felt dated, and the pillows went completely flat as soon as you tried to use them. Breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment. "I was in town for a funeral so I only needed to stay for 2 nights. If you’re on a tight budget with low expectations, then this is the place for you. The hotel lobby AND my room had a one of those damp musty smells. The room did not have a full-length mirror. The bed was not comfortable. The tub looked stained and so was the chair (I took pictures). Breakfast was a typical complimentary breakfast, meh. The fitness room only had 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, and one lat-pulldown machine where you...

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. What a beautiful home that had everything we needed or wanted. Our host was super responsive. It was boiling hot while we were there so we didn’t walk into town, but you certainly could. It was a wonderful oasis to return to at the end of a day of adventures in the heat."
