"I found my stay at Merrils 1 to be very good overall. The room I stayed in was right next to the kitchen and it was quite loud at times. The room was "updated" but the curtains, lamp shade and furnishings were a bit shabby. The staff was friendly although I still found some would take advantage given half a chance. The food was good.
