"The lodge was very nice, staff very attentive and good experience. Except the MaKuwa Kuwa restaurant. Read a lot of reviews saying what a great restaurant it was, very false. Food was not good for all of us and talked to other people who ate there and said the same thing . My lamb dish was rancid and got very bad food poisoning. I do not drink alcohol and a very careful eater."

"I would not recommend staying at the Rainbow Hotel in Victoria Falls. The experience started poorly when I discovered that the toilet in my room was only partially functional. While the staff eventually moved me to another room, they seemed reluctant to do so and acted as though accommodating a legitimate maintenance issue was an inconvenience. The basic amenities were also disappointing. The soap provided appeared to be heavily diluted with water, and the rooms lacked important security...

"The “double” rooms are SMALL, positively minuscule. I knew the hotel was built with containers and the small room indeed felt like a container. The shower was claustrophobic and had that container feel. I needed to stay an extra day and the double rooms were not available so I had to upgrade to an executive room.
