"I was just impressed with the kindness I was giving. The front desk staff were just kind. I was leaving my youngest at college and it was harder than I thought, they were very enduring"
"Staff was great. Cute, clean, comfortable rooms. Reasonably priced. After a day of driving it was nice to go down to the restaurant on property and get a bite to eat. Loved that they had a patio outside to sit at too. Good food."
"The room was clean and plenty of room, towels, bed pillows, and small appliances to be able to use.
The only thing was the toilet was running quite often so it might require fixing (room #57).
Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice."
"The staff was welcoming and informed us about the free breakfast, the afternoon tea, and the entertainment in the Pub (Thursday thru Sunday).
The hotel is very charming , food was good & the live entertainment on Thursday was excellent! Highly recommend this hotel."
"Breakfast was pretty spartan and not the best quality - even for a no-frills hotel such as this one. Also, it was not clear if the pool was accessible as our key cards would not open the pool area door."
"The pool area was very well designed and family-friendly, with a little kiddy pool and a water slide for bigger kids. The pool water was not very clean. Floating debris needed to be filtered out more aggressively. Some previous swimmers had been coated in lotions that caused a film over the water. I understand that other guests will be rude idiots, but proper pool maintenance and chemistry can reduce this oil problem.
Breakfast was good, staff were wonderful. I would love to see grab rails in the shower, and more places to hang wet towels. Bathroom was in good condition. Beds were nicely made up. One mattress (near the door, room 424) was starting to deteroriate from hard use."
