"The Kingston has all the things I love about travel. The building itself is really old. My room was a twin with a sink and a shower down the hall. It was clean, comfortable, and felt like a real place instead of a generic hotel room. It's owned by a local family and a lot of the staff is part of the family. It's the first place I've been where the overnight staff was super accommodating. If you need perfect linens, expensive soaps, and a high end bar, its not for you. If you want a quiet and comfortable space in the best location in Vancouver, it probably is."

"Good breakfast. The server, Harry was excellent. The person who checked us in Onsmin also very hospitable friendly warm. Also William at checkout very hospitable and the Bellman were also very helpful very friendly smiling. The one slight negative was the Walter thin and we could hear our neighbors. Great location good amenities. It was our 43rd wedding anniversary and the hotel did some special things for that occasion. We will definitely stay here again."

"This hotel is decent. Our only complaint is that it is way too expensive. The amenities do not justify the price that we paid. There are no tissue boxes in the room, no coffee machine in the room, no lotion. It would be fine if you were paying $100 or $150 per night at most. We paid far more than that, unfortunately. I guess that’s just Vancouver."

"The room was clean and staff were friendly. . The rooms in the back, are quiet but overlooks to houses. The rooms at the front of the hotel are noisy. The hotel is way over priced at over $300 a night. The location is really bad, there are a couple of restaurants that are not the best and there is nothing to see walking distance. When going to downtown you have to go thru a really bad area with sidewalks full of homeless and drugged/drunken people. I definitely would not recommend."
