"Our expectations were higher than they really were due to the hotel's reputation, but it was clean and there was a turn-down service. The mini fridge was really cold. The hot water didn't come right away, you had to drain it for a few minutes before you could take a shower. Pool and room service: unbelievable, how tasteless watery pizza and triangle sandwiches can even be made, I guess that's a skill. The Michelin restaurant in the hotel lobby has high-quality food, you can't go to Restaurant...

"Fantastic stay, unfortunately only for 1 day. The staff really know what customer service and hospitality is and the place is pure luxury. The bed was one of the comfiest ones I’ve ever slept in. The rooftop pool is ideal to top up your tan and relax if you can bear the heat!"

"I spent 5 nights at the doubletree hotel, it’s a nicely decorated, peaceful and clean hotel. The staff were great, friendly and very helpful. It’s in a good location, walking distance to the national museum and flag plaza, and short taxi ride to west bay. The pool was closed for renovation work, which was disappointing but otherwise I enjoyed my stay."
