5. Leeds Centre by Charles Hope

Leylands

"The apartment was good, but the company took a 100 GBP damage deposit (it was supposed to be a hold but the money was debited from my account). They then claimed not to have actually taken the money (despite evidence to the contrary) and despite acknowledging the need to return the damage deposit claim to have done so without actually having done so (because they claim it was just a hold). Communication with them is extremely poor because it is largely through an AI assistant - and when you...

6. Leeds Haven - Niche 1 & 2 Bedroom Apartments with Cityscape views by Sojo Stay

Knowsthorpe

"Good location with parking, slight issue with the parking as you are given an allocated spot but upon arrival there was a vehicle already parked in the spot, quick phone call and instructions given to park elsewhere which was fine. Entry door system was hit and miss, didn’t work upon arrival but then on return did the same thing but it worked. Stayed in a 2 bedroom but only one bathroom so if you were not from the same family it might cause a few issues. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was fantastic, right in the centre and so convenient for getting around. The apartment was lovely and clean, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. There were just a couple of small things worth mentioning — the fan in the bedroom was a little noisy, and the window didn’t block out all the light in the morning. But these were minor things, and overall we had a really lovely stay. We’d happily stay here again!"

13. Modern Apartments in Hollis Croft Sheffield

" My experience at Students Only Hollis Croft was very disappointing. Despite booking well in advance, I had to follow up several times before my reservation was confirmed. On arrival, the room had multiple issues: the mattress was not just uncomfortable — it was painful to sleep on. I ended up laying on top of the duvet and even some of my clothes just to make it bearable. The pillows lacked support, the hob did not work, the kettle socket was faulty, and the tap leaked. I reported these...

"NEEDS IMPROVING. The location was fantastic, however there are several things that need work and whoever cleans the flat would know this. The freezer section of the refrigerator is one solid block of ice, pushing open the freezer door. It's so bad that a person needs to make sure the fridge door is closed. The shower hose and drain need attention. The drain gets plugged immediately. The bed is the absolute WORST bed I have ever slept on. I bet the mattress is several decades old. You feel...

"Parking was easy and secure. Communication with the host before our pre-arranged early arrival was excellent. The apartment, though sparsely furnished, was clean and tidy with comfortable beds with fresh white linen. The kitchen was fine after we located the cutlery on the cupboard top. There being no tea towel, dish cloth or towels in the bathroom we improvised. This apart, it was perfect for our short term stay. "
