A fabulous apartment.

A fabulous apartment. Big, spacious. Clean and in an excellent location, close to all of the sights in the old town. Staff were very friendly and helpful when I had a bit of an emergency. Would visit again.

Great location, comfortable + loads of space.

Easy check in and check out - staff were quite helpful when directing you to the correct apartment (as they are dotted around close by). Location is excellent. Not too far from the main train station and right in the middle of most of Dresden's sights. Apartments were clean (bar a few small issues in bathroom), comfortable, and warm (-10 Celsius outside at one point!).

We stayed 6 days. No room service. Toilet paper was not resupplied although we asked for it. High old fashioned bathtub, dangerous to climb into. Beds were not very confortable. Appartment was quiet and spacious. Public parking has to be prepaid daily. The strong point is the good location.

Excellent stay in the center of Dresden. Clean, spacious rooms, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast in sister hotel. Can be somewhat loud because of central location, but was still acceptable.

Spacious and clean apartment. Great breakfast. Only drawback was the uncomfy sofabed that two of the party had to use. It definitely needs an extra mattress to offer a comfortable night sleep.

Dresden DPG SKM hotel

This is an excellent hotel. Recommended by a German colleague. You collect the key after hours from a hotel around the corner. But you get a huge apartment, with separate kitchen and storage rooms. Quiet, near a supermarket and right in the main downtown square. It’s great

This place was great for what we needed - a full apartment with a living room, bedroom and fully equipped kitchen. The receptionist was too kind and very sweet to us. The location was perfect and walkable to everywhere in Dresden. The only reason I am docking some points is that the internet was painfully slow, and that should not be a thing in 2023. I had an interview scheduled for that day and I had to turn my video off because it glitched so much.

Wonderful location but the apartment was too hot , wifi and air condition doesn’t work, we travel across Germany and the only reason we booked this hotel for a night passing by Dresden was to use washer clean our clothes . The room was not stocked with essential cleaning detergent and staff are all off duty so this hotel only served as beds and it was hot like a sauna . I don’t recommend this and at best it is a hostel for youth, Expedia ratings somehow is off on this one.

The listing states the hotel room has a washer and a dryer. It does not have a dryer. The washer was broken and dirty. We spent hours in trying to wash the laundry but ended up in a big mess. We chose the hotel because of the availability of washer and dryer, but it was a sad disappointment.

Do Not Stay Here

Do not stay here. The washer machine in my unit was broken, they failed to fix it, and finally (after two days) agreed to re-wash and dry my clothes for me. The clothes returned wet, crumpled in balls, and covered in bleach stains. All staff were extremely rude to me until I finally found one person willing to help. Eventually they agreed to pay for the ruined clothing. However, it’s been a month and I still have not yet received the funds. They say they told their bank to send them money and there is nothing else they are will to do. The documentation the sent me is in German so I cannot read it. In order to finish drying my laundry, I had to change my plans and stay in Berlin one extra night. I left and went to another hotel. The apartment building front door is also frequently unlocked and wide open. Twice I found lost tourists wandering in the entry way. The units have no air conditioning and I was there at the height of the summer. Despite having large windows, there is no air circulation. I was dripping sweat the entire time. At night, I would keep the window open, but that meant hearing tons of noise from the busy street and getting blinded by the bright street lights. The grocery store next door is a small kiosk without enough options to make a meal. The only other store was a small Aldi about 20 min away. It also barely had enough options to make a meal beyond pasta.

War OK allerdings ist der Zustand des Wohnzimmers nicht so schoen….eine grosse Anzahl von Flecken auf dem Teppich zeugen von starker Verschutzung und fehlgeschlagenen Reinigungsversuchen.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist einfach Genial. Wir waren im Alten Dresden und hatten die Frauenkirche genau vor unserer Nase. Einfach schön. Da aber sehr schlechtes Wetter war und wir ein paar Minuten TV schauen wollten, war die Ernüchterung groß, da keine Sender zu finden waren. Das hatte ich schon in einer anderen Bewertung gelesen. Leider scheint sich in den letzten Monaten da nichts getan zu haben.
