"The hotel itself is fabulous. Front desk staff are welcoming and helpful. My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. My experience in the bar/restaurant was not a good experience. "My 20 year old son and I stayed for 3 nights in February 2026 and had a wonderful time. We arrived before 5 am (on a bank holiday, which we didn't know about since we don't celebrate 2/2 like that in the US) and the gentlemen at the front desk were so helpful. They stored our luggage since check was at 4 pm and then helped us locate a car park. Many were closed due to the holiday. (Note: We left our car at Grafton Car Park for 3 days and ended up paying a fortune! On the Expedia listing it says...

"We stayed at The Lucan Spa two different days during our trip as we were driving through Ireland and it was not too far from the airport. I can’t say enough about the staff - we arrived early and we were able to leave our luggage there with no problem. I injured myself and they were genuinely concerned and extremely helpful.
