"The only interactions I had with staff was after checking in, someone directed us to the elevator. Didn’t realize anyone was nearby because I would have loved help checking in. And I called the front desk to have the expensive buffet removed after regrettably opting in while checking in. That person was nice. Otherwise, the hotel was basically STAFF-LESS. Ghost town. The room was incredibly small! I didn’t expect that. The M in Citizen M mist stand for Macro? I hope you’re not expecting privacy while you use the bathroom and shower. And the bed is pushed against the wall, so someone has to climb over the other person. Hope you don’t get up in the middle of the night for the bathroom. I didn’t enjoy the ipad to control the room either. No information on things to do in the area, or information about the hotel itself. One of the elevators got stick on the third floor twice. The location was great, as it’s across the street from the T, and there is Wendy’s, Dunkin, and Whole Foods nearby. That was probably the best part about staying here. Designed for young couples- I’m not sure myself as a young couple would have enjoyed it, and as a parent traveling with a teen, we definitely did not enjoy it. It was clean, and it was the cheaper hotel we found, but we would have been happier paying double to stay elsewhere. Lesson learned! I would not recommend this hotel."

"Main entrance was a bit tight to pass through with my wide suitcase. Also there are steps making it more difficult. I suggest using the side entrance. The store attached to hotel was great. Picked up coffee and snacks. A bit pricey but I guess you’re paying for convenience. My room was clean. Surprised that after taking an elevator to my floor I still had to take more steps up to get to my room. So be aware if your like me and struggle with steps. I wonder if it’s because I stayed in the smaller room. The room is snug like stretchy jeans. Five more pounds and I wouldn’t have fit. Worked out well for me since I don’t need a lot of room. Most important it was clean and smelled clean. Housekeeping was great. They were able to give me a mini fridge which I really appreciated. "

"Nice hotel well located with renovated rooms & Internet was fine but... 1) bath shower was still old and didn't work well 2) walls have no soundproofing - VERY NOISY! 3) packaged pastries is not 'breakfast' 4) on event night, we came back to a full parking lot. I had to walk to another hotel and pay for overnight parking Staff was great - refunded parking, but I still had to walk back & forth to other parking lot "

"Super clean room, very friendly staff, pet-friendly which was nice. Person who checked me in, Merima, was really nice and accommodating as heck. I would absolutely come back here. Gave me a really cool upgrade as well! Sure sounding area was so full of things to do you really couldn’t be bored. Good eats around as well. Just all around a great experience ! "

"Perfect stay"

"Complicated to reach staff for support. When checking out I asked for help as two packages had not arrived yet. I asked to refuse the packages and that this would help me a lot. Staff was indifferent, I did not feel any will to help, try to understand...I tried calling, and the same happened. I could not reach hotel via chat to solve this. In short, have been trying to solve this issue for days and in different ways: in person, call, email, via hotels.com...."
