"When checking in I was asked for ID, I didn’t really have anything and said oh, I’ve stayed many times and never been asked. He said well you would have because it’s company policy! I said honestly, in all the years I’ve stayed at Marstons Inns I’ve never been asked, but I don’t think he believed me. Then, once in our room I checked the pull down seat in the shower area as we’ve had problems before and hubby is disabled. It was stuck fast, I yanked as hard as I could, trying not to pull it off the wall. Nope, Anyway a nice young girl came over and after much banging and bashing it came down. But the seat was loose, we managed, but it probably needs maintenance. It’s also very frustrating that hotels always leave the shower head so high that a wheelchair user can’t reach it and as a short partner, in her 70’s hate having to climb up to get it. It’s a pet hate of mine, that I usually mention. If only cleaning staff were to check that the seat works and the shower head is low, there’s usually only a few accessible rooms, please, please teach them this simple thing."

"Spacious room comfortable bed was in an annex away from main building but not too far ..few steps to encounter with suitcase but overall nice stay...didn't really interact with staff as was away from main building but friendly and helpful on arriving"

"Facilities in the bedroom were good coffee machine, tv etc although expected a bigger bed in a premium room. Bathroom was a bit tired but towels were excellent. Wasn't expecting to pay to use the swimming pool. Nothing mentioned in the description of the hotel. "
