"The breakfast was what you would expect from a continental breakfast. There was good variety. Extremely kind, knowledgable staff. Unfortunately, the rooms were a disappointment. Our TV would not work, the wi-fi connection was spotty, and the bathroom showed extreme signs of wear (e.g., pot light hanging from the roof, peeling wall paper, cracks in the bathroom floor)."

"Perfect for a short stay to visit son at Kent! Very clean. Staff helpful. Beds floors bathrooms all clean and neat. The electric shade in our room did not work so I did sleep with parking lot light in my face all night, which was no bueno. But I didn't report because we got there late and I was too tired. Lobby very nice. Right next door to Sheetz so awesome for convenience. Will stay again."

"Avoid Spark by Hilton Akron Fairlawn Hotel – Unprofessional and Discriminatory Staff
I had an appalling experience checking in around 8 PM after traveling all the way from Texas. Upon arrival, the front desk was unattended. When an agent named Shannon finally appeared, he seemed visibly intoxicated, agitated and struggled to read my driver's license address. When I politely confirmed the address was correct, he suddenly flew into a rage, hostilely asking why I didn't speak loudly...
