Lower Rapscott Cross That's the name on the signpost, but all the maps name this as "Litchaton Cross". However, the maps also show Litchaton Cross at the point where Hookway Down Lane meets the top of Litchaton Hill, near Nadrid. On the right, the lane crosses the floodplain of the River Bray to cross the river at Brayley Bridge.
Punch Bowl Wood from Brayley Hill The round wood occupies a combe on the western slopes of the Bray valley.
Valley of the Venn Taken from one of several sharp bends in the no through lane from West Buckland to Taddiport, followed by the Tarka Trail and the Macmillan Way West, both of which continue across the valley. The lane can be seen descending past the nearest trees, down a side valley. Left of centre, beyond Accott Woods, another deeper side valley enters from the opposite side of the Venn.
Barn at Crossbury. The farm at Crossbury stands high above the valley shown in 618681, and the farm drive climbs steeply to it from the camera.
