"The room was clean. The staff was very helpful. It was lto get lovely to get complementary chips, water, and pop. The room was small. There was no place to hang towels and very little room to put suitcases."

When we arrived, we went to our room which had peeling paint in the bathroom shower, broken door, a very loud squeaky bed when tried it out by sitting on it, and the room was dirty and in need of repairs. We went to the office to get another room. The next room we were given was not any better, but no rooms were available in the area, so we stuck it out as long as possible. This room had a plumbing pipe sticking out of the wall...

"This is an older building that has been updated nicely. The room and bed were comfortable and clean, and the bathroom had been updated. It was nice to park right at the door to the room."

"The location is great and the property is very nice, green, lots of outdoor chairs etc. The breakfast was better than standard motel fare. The only downside is the really small one bathroom (with no sink outside) even for a two room unit or units where four people are allowed. However that is specified in the listing so its not a surprise. You'll have to plan bathroom usage. Otherwise its a great place - nearby to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor."

"The location is great. The room and the grounds were very clean and well maintained. The room was basic and comfortable. If you are looking for fancy this isn’t the place. It met my needs and I would stay there again."
