"Very old hotel.Everything is old rooms,bathrooms, elevators,mattresses are cheap, no central ac/heating. Restroom for guests cost 25cents. Only good thing about this hotel is location. "

Bathroom could have done with a little updating and blackout blinds in the room would be nicer than slat blinds, but otherwise everything was great and good value compared to most other Manhattan hotels! If you need to be on the upper west side this place is solid and reliable, and the staff were nice."

"Clean, comfortable hotel with a very cool-looking lobby and kind, helpful front desk staff. Our room was comfortable and overall we had a good stay. A few things future guests may want to know: the AC/heating unit in our room was incredibly loud, and there was no bathroom fan. Front-facing rooms can also be noisier since they overlook the street near the theaters and stage doors. It didn’t bother us personally, but light sleepers may want to request a quieter room. Also worth noting that luggage storage comes with a fee. Overall, a solid stay in a great location with a welcoming staff."

"If you are going for a short trip and do not need a lot of space, this is great. My daughter and I came in to town for a show and this was easy to get to from the train. Close to the show as well. Will stay here again."
