"EVERY front desk associate I interacted with was very professional amd courteous. I arrived way early for my check-in as our cruise ship docked at 8am and the location is only minutes away, though they couldn't accommodate me right then; they checked on me and made sure my stay was comfortable. Meant a lot to me because unfortunately you don't get that as often these days. Great Job Hampton Inn (Convention)"

"Plenty parking and easy to find. Initial receptionist appeared a little uninterested upon arrival but all other staff were courteous, friendly, helpful. Breakfast is limited but does state “on the go” and matches perfectly; plenty of places nearby on the 190 to get a proper breakfast if wanted (especially the waffle house next door). Building is fine although a little dated in places but absolutely fine and comfortable "

"Location is very good. Room was not ready at 4 pm and we had to wait a half hour. Noted several other parties were in lobby waiting for their rooms as well. Parking is valet only at $47/day. Staff not helpful in ID'ing alternative parking but there are many lots nearby at varying cost. We fount one for $22/day close by. Rooms are pretty basic, but clean. Beds comfortable. Omissions included soap/soapdish missing in one room; no detergent for the dishwasher; glass shelf half-hanging off the...

"“Homewood” is definitely a good name for it! The first hotel I’ve been to that felt like what you would have at home. A ceiling fan, a regular sized refrigerator, a stove, and dishwasher. It was a great stay!"

"It’s an older facility, so there is that…but the mark down was bc there was fuzzy mold on the shower grout, and the bath soap dispenser was completely empty on check in day. Otherwise, the staff is absolutely amazing, kind, and full of smiles. The location is great. "
