"We had a wonderful stay at Stanwell House Hotel. The staff are excellent, every member of the team was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 32, which was perfectly cosy with a very comfortable bed and offered lovely views. The breakfast was great—high quality and plenty of choice. My only minor note is that drinks can be quite expensive at the bar. Highly recommended for a boutique stay in Lymington!"

"The only factor in favour for the hotel is the history and the period property. It needs sprucing up the exterior and somewhat the interior. Room can get hot despite not south face. Breakfast was too slow and so we left without having the main item , 40 minutes after entering.They wrote that breakfast is leisurely but it could be putting a spin on the low staffing.Reception personnel are not quite welcoming or service like.."

"The room was very nice indeed, lovely big and comfirtable bed, just slightly cold on a February day even though the radiator was on. Also the TV in the adjacent room was too loud, which would have been annoying if we hadnt been getting up early anyway or if we'd wanted to stay in the room the evening before. radiator was one. "

"DO NOT STAY HERE. This is a badly maintained HMO, not guest house. I saw 4 broken windows. The flooring is awful - bare cement outside our room. Our room had no curtains. There was a constantly running tap into a sink outside our room. To top it off, the keypad lock was broken, so when we returned to our room at midnight, we couldn't get back in. No response from the emergency helpline then. Still no response now, 16 hours later. The emergency locksmith I called hadn't arrived after...
