"The location was great, easily access to everything. We quickly found a short cut through the mall to princess street. The apartment was also nice and quiet. It was mostly clean but there was some grit or dirt on the floor as I could hear it rubbing on my case. We expected a sofa as the pictures on the website had a picture of the executive suite with a sofa but apparently that’s only for those with a balcony! "To be clear it’s an Apartment hotel with no parking, nor any amenities, no assistance to be reached after 6pm daily. Location is good. Room noise facing Queen street is considerable so much so that earplugs are placed in the kitchen for renters. 6 floor had flooring so squeaky everywhere in the apt that one cannot help disturbing others when walking around in the apartment. Have never experienced anything like it. Nice that the 2 bedrooms have 2 separate bathrooms. Rooms are comfortable....

"A very enjoyable stay in this lovely quirky property in the gorgeous East Lothian countryside. V clean, everything we needed, lots of additional touches e.g. milk & oatcakes on arrival. You are in the middle of the countryside but 10mins drive to A1 & Dunbar & 30mins to North Berwick & Edinburgh. Highly recommended"

"This is an amazing space with good connection to many attractions. Beautiful setting in the country with great views, ponds of swans, and short distance to restaurants. We had a bit of trouble with the heat and plumbing but the owner was quick to check it out. "

"The location is fab and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are big and clean and well furbished with everything you need from hairdryer to dishwasher and washing machine. The breakfast though was most disappointing (small selection of - apart from the fruit - only sweet and sugared items). I recommend going to one of the little cafes nearby where you get more for your money."

"Place was gorgeous, modern, convenient, clean. Though listed as for 4 people, it was a bit awkward for 4 people: bathroom en suite to one room, so those on beds (pull-outs) in front room had to walk through the other room to the bathroom. And because light switches for bathroom are outside, anyone sleeping gets light in their eyes until the door is closed. And using the kitchenette was disturbing to those sleeping in front room. Would have liked a full size coffee maker as the nespresso...
