"Absolutely would not recommend this property. The pictures online show an outdoor and indoor pool area. The outdoor pool was not functional and large empty pool when you pull in. The security was my biggest concern. After checking in, I was told to enter through the back of building as that was closest to my assigned room. "The location of the Lake House Inn was great for visiting my husband's brother and his girlfriend. The room was attractively decorated, the beds reasonably comfortable, and the room reasonably clean (baseboards and walls are due a good wipe-down, though). TP dispenser was MUCH too far from the toilet and there was a faceplate for a control to a nonexistent heat lamp that hung loose from the wall. Maybe remove the faceplate and TP dispenser and plaster over those spots? DO NOT book through...

"The purpose of our visit was to have a sleeping place for two nights while we visited family at the Lake. This motel served that purpose. The king bed was comfortable and the room clean. A new experience was that I had never before checked in or out of a motel without seeing someone at the office to provide a key and to complete paperwork. I did speak by phone to someone who gave me information. A nice feature is that next door is a restaurant which serves good food for reasonable prices. ...

"This is a great place to stay, staff was great. A little disappointed the restaurant was closed Tuesday and Wednesday but the pool was great and the area of the lake was pretty quiet. The cabin was nice, we will be back."
