We dined in the attached restaurant both nights and the food, and service, was very good. We arrived by bicycle and safe storage was provided. "The hotel is in the beautiful city of Grasmere. There was limited parking even though online advertised available parking. When I booked online, the family room showed two beds. When we arrived, there was only one. The plumbing was very noisy and the shower was very narrow and hard to use. The bed was not comfortable at all. "
