"It was amazing seeing all the different birds from their restaurant patio. I saw way more kinds of birds including two tucans from here than from the actual birds watching tours. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice city view too. "

"This property was incredibly beautiful. This hotel is more for couples and my husband and I enjoyed it. The food was amazing. Everyone on the staff went over and beyond to assist you with whatever you need. The atmosphere was great as well. The perfect get away to relax, reflect and restore. "The owner was extremely helpful and available. She recommended great places to visit and excellent restaurants to try. The room was clean and comfortable, and there’s a lovely balcony overlooking a tree full of parrots ! Pretty central, 20 min walk from the beach and most restaurants, 10min walk from the bus station. Pretty easy to go around"
"Overall excellent. Only (minor) problem was that the first night was pretty cold, and there was no heat in the room. The second night the host provided a ceramic electric heater and that made the cabin very cosy."
"We had a wonderful stay at El Faro. The location was perfect for our family. The beach and Manuel Antonio National Park are very close. The view from our balcony was amazing. We knew about climbing the hill beforehand and really didn’t think it was that bad (our ages were 58, 49, 48, 46, 15, 14, 12, and 11). The hotel staff helped bring up and down our luggage, so that wasn’t an issue, and a golf cart ride was easily available, whenever needed. We also really enjoyed our breakfasts each morning,...
