"Overall excellent place to stay. Staff friendly and service fantastic. The only downside was music could be heard from the bar area at night until approximately 10pm. This didn’t bother us, but it’s worth bearing in mind when making a reservation. "Location is great with lots of free parking options nearby including EV chargers. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and warm. On the downside was the fact that our room was just above the pub and on Saturday night was very loud until midnight and we couldn’t sleep. So make sure to ask for a room on higher floor. "Property is well located and beds are comfy. It was very cold in the property when we arrived as the thermostat had been turned to 10 degrees and there were no matches to light the fire. The whole property felt like it needed a bit of a refresh.....walls marked, some mirrors cracked, doors & handles chipped, kitchen equipment mismatched and well used, some kitchen equipment broken, dining room chair broken and not usable.
