"Honestly the people who own this accommodation were wonderful and welcoming. Really enjoyed meeting them. Also great to have kitchen equipment, a hammock and large accommodation which was close to Abrao port. There were a few bugs which they happily cleaned away, but which later returned. Wasn't an issue for me but worth watching out for. Thanks for having me and my partner."

"Séjour très décevant, le pire de nos trois semaines au Brésil. Impossible de joindre l’établissement avant mon arrivée malgré plusieurs tentatives quelques semaines en avance. Une fois sur place, on avait l’impression de déranger le personnel. La propreté de la chambre est discutable et, comble du manque de service, le ménage n'est pas fait durant le séjour de trois nuits. Côté restauration, le buffet du petit-déjeuner propose certains produits pas frais, voire carrément avariés. Pour votre confort et votre santé, passez votre chemin!"

"O Sítio Ilha Grande is an absolute gem of a place to stay while in Ilha Grande. The staff could not have been better and more accommodating, the common area is great, the food is great, and the property is absolutely stunning. The staff helped us book a boat day around the island that we’ll remember forever. I would recommend to anyone who is traveling to the island."

"This is a national park for Brazil. The inn provides the basic, is clean and the host Rucardo is absolutely amazing. Ask him before booking tours ahead of your trip. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, coming to the island may not be your cup of tea. If you are looking for peace, nature, quaint shops, snorkeling and observing animals in their natural habitat this is for you. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I hope I get the opportunity. "
