"Beautiful property.The staff were very accommodating ,helpful and friendly.The only complaint to report was the lack of on site eating facilities .We arrived on a rainy Sunday and the outside venue for lunch was closed.The bar did not serve food until 3:30.The only option was the Sunday buffet which was priced at $59.00pp.Starbucks was limited to a grilled cheese or a ham egg sandwich.We were forced to leave the property to have lunch . The espresso martini was priced at &20.00 a tad high .Overall it was an enjoyable stay."

"I’m giving this hotel a 5-star rating not because the facilities and amenities are 5-star quality, but because of how professionally and thoughtfully management handled an issue I experienced during my most recent stay. I’ve stayed here several times over the summer for quick weekend getaways because of its convenient location near the beach. The property is somewhat dated and could use updating, but I feel the room rates are reasonable and reflective of the accommodations. I did have an issue with my most recent reservation. While I haven’t always found the front desk staff to be particularly accommodating, the General Manager was exceptional. Once I brought my concern to his attention, he addressed it promptly, efficiently, and professionally. I couldn’t have asked for a more understanding or satisfactory resolution. His response demonstrated that management genuinely values its guests, and I greatly appreciated the respect and consideration shown. For that reason, I’ll continue to return for quick weekend getaways and would be happy to recommend the hotel to others."

We picked this hotel because they have a restaurant and a bar for a drink after dinner, it was 8:30 and he was closing the bar he said it was no problem, he made the drink and gave us our bill at the same time did not talk at all and a little rude. I also read they have live music and they did not."

"The fireplace was lovely and the room was cozy and attractive. The bathroom was spacious and clean, however we weren’t able to locate any extra t.p. I would advise people that the staircase going up to the rooms is quite steep. We were able to manage ok, but anyone with difficulty with stairs would have a challenge. The breakfast voucher for breakfast was great and we enjoyed a lovely meal. We also had a wonderful time at The Kate at a Blues concert. Overall, very satisfied with our overnight stay."
