"I loved that old cottage and am glad it is in good use. It's nicely furnished and the village where it is situated is delightful. Two negatives were the dog smell in the lounge and poor state of plants in pots. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. Being a gardener, I tried to look after the remaining plants and had to transplant one huge heuchera plants that was literally hanging in the air as its pot was...

We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain."

"I absolutely loved staying at this cottage. It was so homely, beautifully decorated, very clean, extremely comfortable bed and had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect everything on our doorstop. Would highly recommend to anyone and would definitely book again. The only issue I had was contacting the host prior to the booking. But we managed to speak to Skye cottages eventually and was able to ask the questions we had."

"The room was clean, bed comfortable, but the room was really hot, even with the fan on. since the room was at the front with one aspect it was very hard to get air into the room and it would benefit a lot from Air Con. Parking was available, but it was additional cost. The breakfast was very good value."
