"Wonderful hotel!"

"We loved Waterford and the hotel. We almost couldn't fly home from Dublin and we were going to try to go back to Waterford and stay at Dooleys Hotel for as long as we were grounded! Unfortunately, we were able to fly out. Highly recommend!!"

"We had an excellent room. The bespart was the super comfy beds, clean and fresh bedding, and newly renovated rooms. Absolutely wonderful stay. The restaurant and pub were excellent as well. The staff - Nella, Chloe and Michael were awesome & went well and above the ordinary to make us feel at home. Thanks everyone!"

"It’s raining and storming in Dunmore East so we decided to duck into Strand Inn for shelter. When we saw the fresh fish specials of the day, we decided to stay for dinner, too. We fell in love with the staff and decided we needed to stay the night!! It was the perfect decision. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning before we headed on our way. Highly recommended!!!"

"We stayed in the cabin in the back which was…. Absolutely adorable and as pictured. I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening. That is my only advice for anyone wanting to stay...

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect and the manager Noel is a nice guy and is very helpful with things to do and see in the area. Safe car parking, a good shower and a good night's sleep is all you need."
