"The hotel is a bit rough. It’s fairly clean, but showing a lot of wear. Our room was okay. The ceiling in the shower looked a bit mildewy. We found a washcloth dried up in the shower and one of the pillows smelled as if it hadn’t been changed. We arrived pretty late and were heading out early so I didn’t bother complaining. In the morning, I dropped off my keys. The receptionist asked for our room number and I mentioned the room condition. No apology or anything. Just a smirk and a, “I’ll let them know”.
