"Excellent hospitality. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. Food and drinks were amazing. Bartenders showed off their talents!!! The pool was nice. Staff associated with water activities made sure we were safe and informative about the different beaches. We will go back sooner than later!!! "
"This property is what you pay for however I feel I spent way too much for what it was worth. I stayed here for 1 week. The food was average, they ran out of certain alcohols during my stay, there was no hot waterto shower and was not aware you had to pay extra for housekeeping services . I had ordered take out one night and had animals enter into my room via a large hole behind my toilet, the staff was rude and the locals felt they could just hang out on the property smoking cannabis all day. No security to reinforce this. There are so many other things I could point out but this resort needs to be renovated because the only thing it has going for it is the beach ocean and pools. I would never go back."
"The pool and ocean view were the highlights of the property. The food was average at best. The location was somewhat isolated, you had to take a cab to go off site to eat other that Mama Mia's which was next door and decent. The front desk and cleaning staff were outstanding. The restaurant and bar staff were not as friendly. We did not do the all-inclusive but did eat at the restaurant a couple times and went to the pool bar a couple times. Each time at the bar the bartender tried to add things to the bill that we did not order, so beware and review your bill carefully. In addition the second time we ate lunch the waiter brought a bill that wasn't ours for us to pay. Once again, pay attention to your bills. Overall, the location was beautiful and the facilities, pool chairs, etc were nice. Food not great and location a little isolated if you are planning to do things off site, like eating out and shopping, etc. but overall we had a nice stay. "
"Beautiful property, very spacious rooms. Clean. Comfortable beds. Good view of the marina (depending on the room you book of course). Friendly staff.
The property is on a very steep hill. This is highlighted in many of the negative reviews. If you are not comfortable walking an incline to get to your room, then this location might not be for you. You will not have access to your room with your car, but the staff can shuttle you with golf carts. A free public parking lot is across the street. Spots may be limited in high demand times, but we had no issues during our stay.
There is no onsite dining, but there are quite a few amazing restaurants within a short, easy walk. Being near restaurants and bars, expect normal noise associated with that at night (others report excessive noise late at night, so it may depend on the night or local events).
Overall, a great place to stay for a few nights in English Harbor. As always, do your research first and you should not experience any surprises."
"Service needs attention. We had multiple issues during our stay in terms of service. Hotel is understaffed. There is no urgency in addressing requests. We have stayed is 5 star hotels around the world and this hotel is severely lacking in service. The price we paid does not match the experience we had. The beach is beautiful and we loved our beach attendant Daniel who went above and beyond. Chef at wild tamarind is great and food was flavorful. They ran out of towels on the beach, no trash can placed in our room (had to ask multiple times to get a trash can), asked for a streamer and they didn’t have one, room was filled with mosquitoes, no porter available to take us up the hill at night…the list of short comings is long. Please train your staff and hire more staff so this is not the norm. "
