"We stayed 4 nights in 2 rooms (a couple and a solo traveler) and while the location is the hotel's strongest point. It is a historic building in the Loop, walkable to Millennium Park and easy transit access. A few things could be improved. Our check-in experience was a bit awkward as the host assigned the smallest room to the couple rather than the solo traveler, which felt like an oversight. The lobby seating is showing wear, and the in-room bedding instructions were more confusing than they...

"Beautiful old hotel in great area of Chicago. Steps to great restaurants, and shopping! I had a lower floor room and my only comment was related to noise from the plumbing or A/C system that did keep me up part of the night. The staff was great!"

"The public areas are beautiful. Staff was outgoing, engaging and helpful. The room we had was in dire need of TLC. Bathroom especially: broken fan that was ready to fall, rusty door frame, shower head that looked to be an afterthought and shower curtain doesnt prevent water from leaking (which is probably why the door frame is rusting)"
