"Lovely bargain hotel, just a few minutes walk from the train and bus station, and easy to walk into the Old Town and Marina within 10 minutes, the area around the hotel is very scruffy with derelict buildings and busy side streets, but the hotel itself is clean, comfortable and great value for money. reception staff speak really good English and very helpful and friendly, we could book in at 12pm. rooms are quite small, but beds and pillows really comfy, everything spotlessly clean, and we paid £67 for a twin room with breakfast for 2 and the breakfast was really good value, with plenty of hot and cold choices and G/F rolls and cakes. perfect hotel for a few days exploring Faro."

"My husband and I, and our daughter and son-in-law all loved our Lemon Tree Stay. What a perfect ending to our visit to Portugal! Everything about the Lemon Tree Stay was perfect and delightful starting with the staff, Vasco and Rachel, who gave us a wonderful and very warm welcome. Vasco offered us coffee or tea and a delicious piece of freshly baked orange cake when we arrived. He also provided us with a map and spent time giving us great ideas of places to visit and to eat. Rachel, who arrived in the afternoon was just as welcoming and friendly. The smell of the delicious orange cake she was baking for the next morning drifted all the way up to the outdoor rooftop terrace where we sat before leaving for dinner. The courtyard with the beautiful lemon tree and seating areas was like a little paradise, as were the two roof top terraces. The room we booked was small, but was spotless and well appointed with a super comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and a wonderful shower. Because we had to leave before breakfast, Rachel left us bagged breakfasts with sandwiches and orange cake, and even coffee cups and saucers for each of us so we could eat before our shuttle arrived.
