"Very happy with our stay here, they kindly said we could park up earlier than our checking in time. Our room was ready earlier too so that was a plus. The cooked breakfasts were lovely and brought to your table, we had dinner one evening in the restaurant and that was lovely too. Very polite and helpful staff. We asked if we could leave car in the car park for the morning on day of departure just so we could walk into town and they said that was fine. It made for a very cheerful stay the staff...

"If you want to spend extra time on the cathedral grounds - this is where you should stay. The breakfast was outstanding. The room was a bit small - sort of like a dormitory, but it was very nicely decorated and clean. The only amenity is soap, so you will want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner and toiletries."

"The rooms are in historic buildings adjacent to the main hotel so they can be stuffy as expected but there was a fan provided which helped. Thankfully temperatures were only as high as the mid 20s when we stayed, but there is no AC so bear that in mind if that's something you're used to having. The main building itself is beautiful to look at, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent . They also have happy hour for residents between 6 and 7 with free cheese! That was a lovely...
