"Clean room, staff at front desk took forever to do anything. One staff member told us the pool was closed and then we found out it wasn’t closed..but then it was too late for us to swim. Restaurant food wasn’t great and was overpriced..but the restaurant staff were amazing. The bar was also overpriced. Was told parking was $12 per vehicle, we said six times that we only had one vehicle and we were still charged $24."
"The room was good. There were extra charges that were not agreed too. I received a text message on the morning of my checkout telling me I had 3 options to check out. I chose the express checkout which involved sending a message back that I had vacated the room and left the key in it. They did not inform me that doing this involved a $25 extra charge. I will not stay here again."
"That staff was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are old and in need of updates. When I initially turned on the our sink, the water was brown. It cleared out after several minutes of running it. The carpet is very old and not the cleanest. The shower had good pressure but metal came out when I turned the water on. This was not our first choice for a motel but a last minute booking on a holiday weekend. Stay elsewhere if you are looking for any type of luxury. It's pretty alright if you're looking for a budget motel."
"We stayed in multiple hotels on our trip, and this one was the best, and least expensive (by quite a bit)! The room was very clean and the continental breakfast was perfect - with lots to offer. The location was also perfect for what we had planned (visit to Pikes Peak via van; horseback riding through Garden of the Gods; visiting downtown Manitou Springs and Old Town Colorado)! All were were less than 10 minutes from the hotel. It is located in walking distance of numerous restaurants too! Would definitely stay here again!"
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Colorado Springs Garden of the Gods
2/10 Terrible
"I had a reservation - but when I got there at 9:00 the lobby doors were locked. A note on the door said no more rooms. I was not contacted in any way to learn that my room had been cancelled. No efforts were made at all to get me into a different La Quinta or anything. I am still waiting for my refund."
