"Good location to stop before taking the chunnel"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Clifton Hotel in Folkestone! Long scenic walks to the harbour, delicious dining at the Marco Pierre White Chophouse, and the truly exceptional restaurant staff—who also brightened our morning at breakfast—made the experience unforgettable. The ambient bar was a lovely spot to unwind, and a little Costa Coffee bar available. Every member of the hotel team was warm, polite, and welcoming. They made us feel so looked after. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Great location right on the doorstep on the channel. Staff really friendly, romms clean and well kept. The bar was nice and decent variety of drinks. We didn't eat as i was visiting a friend do went out but will definitely consider using again wjen I'm back down. "

"Based on the property description, I was expecting something different. It is a room in an old house. The proprietor was kind, helpful, and accommodating. It was enough for one night and the price was right, but I likely wouldn't return. We had problems with the WC. The location was good, close to the train station and walkable distance to the seaside and city center. If you have an allergy to dogs, pass on this. "Fabulous location. Helpful staff. Very historic. Took dog who was allowed in room and terrace only. The lounges were empty and it would have been nice to access those. Breakfast was nice too. "

"Everything about our stay could not be faulted. Friendly reception on arrival. Told all we needed to know straight away and made to feel very welcome. Separate restaurants as we had our dogs with us and we were the only ones in ours but still were treated very attentively. Good varied menu with several specials on offer.
