"Starting with arrival - this hotel was “difficult”. Difficult to locate using Google Maps, parking was off-site (about a block away and unsecured). Our room was on the second floor - not only was there no elevator, but the stairs were literally from another century - stone, worn uneven with time. Absolutely no help with our bags. Did I mention it was complicated with pouring rain? Yeah, the “lobby” of this hotel is open-air, so the floors were puddles of water, steps were wet - well- they were outside! It was a relief to get inside of the room. The room itself was fine, comfortable enough, nice bathroom, but for me the inconveniences of this place outweighed the positives.
There was a continental breakfast included which was nice, nothing special. You need to ask for your cappuccino to be “caldo” or it will come room temperature.
The staff was pleasant enough - absolutely no complaints.
We actually ended up checking out a day early! I definitely will be looking for another option next time we’re in the Maglie area. No value here based on the price.

"Hotel is lovely and the location perfect. Staff were exceptionally helpful with everything, including excellent restaurant recommendations. Easy walk to the old city, and parking in their lot a huge benefit. Highly recommend this hotel to get the most out of a visit to Gallipoli without having to navigate the old city streets with a car. "The staff at the hotel are very kind and helpful. We appreciated being upgraded to a higher floor with balcony.
The service was excellent, the property grounds are large and peaceful. Our breakfast was bountiful and we were offered more than we could possibly eat. Our sincere gratitude to the hotel staff. "
