"Really lovely hotel, beautifully decorated and very comfortable rooms and beds with a fantastic, powerful shower. Lots of lovely small touches like fresh milk and cookies in the room. We were on the front facing the road and it was very quiet at night even with the window open, no road noise at all. ..."

"The room was modern but basic. We didn’t have a blind or sheer curtain so when we had the blackout curtains open there wasn’t much privacy. The carpet was stained. The children’s bed was wobbly and the frame had sticky marks on it. The small fridge wasn’t very clean and the bath could have been cleaner. ..."

"Sadly the first room had scaffolding at the window due to works. The bathroom only had a bath. Staff quickly offered me another room which had a shower and more space. The rooms are a little dated. "Another great stay at The Royal Oak pub only this time in one of the chalets. Great that There was a fridge & microwave ans I used both ! Sonia & Ian are a lovely couple and it was great to see them again . They have themed nights at the pub and I hope to be going back soon to sample 👌"
