Being right at the entrance of the state park was really good. Our only discomfort was probably with the heating and cooling system. Tried for two days to cool the room down on the upper floor and still seemed kinda warm on the hot days. It definitely wasn’t unbearable just a little humid at night. "The new owners have done a wonderful job with renovations! I stayed at Fox Mountain Inn years ago and noticed the improved cleanliness of the rooms, new paint, an outdoor pet area, and the fire pit. The owners both greeted us, made sure we could access the room, provided coffee and rolls in the morning. In addition, there was frequent communication about our stay."

"Someone knocked on my door and jiggled with the handle several times in the night. There were bugs in the room and bathroom (stink bugs). I put a do no disturb sign on my door. And i could still tell that someone came in my room and moved things around while I was away. "
