"The lobby is very cool, but the rooms need updating badly. The bed was comfy, but the toilet seat was loose, the sink was next to the door into the room, so no sink in the bathroom. My view was of the parking lot.
Continental breakfast was really basic and no real cream or half and half for the coffee, just sweetened creamer or milk.
Staff was very kind and helpful."
"It was nice enough but we won't stay here again. The room was fine but the bed was only okay comfort-wise tbh. The avaiable on-site eateries left a lot to be desired and as we discovered their primary restaurant is closed on Mondays. I don't think I've ever been to a casino where anything was ever closed so that was a surprise. We stayed here on the return leg of an Oregon coast motorcycle trip and we thought Bear River would be a bit of a treat. Of the outbound leg we stayed at the Best Western in Fortuna and between the two we'll be sticking with the Best Western next time. That's not a cost consideration, just personal preference - Bear River wasn't appreciably more expensive than other local hotels"
"The room was big, yet the bathroom was dirty and run down. The maid was very kind and helpful, as she is the only human at this hotel. To check-in you use a kiosk with AI, which takes a lot longer to check-in even though I had pre-checked in online. There is plenty of parking, with a lot of cameras videoing the area.
Coffee in room and the brunch area was not good, apple juice was sour, the yogurt was outdated, so we went out to eat, as did not want to spend time being sick. Next time we will spend the extra $'s and stay somewhere else."
"The Staff was very good, welcoming, friendly, the room are clean, comfortable beds, the breakfast is very good, with many items to choose, we love the Clarion and usually stay here a couple times a year, we also love the Eureka Zoo."
"Clean spaceous room. Comfy bed. Large fridge. Liked 2-person table in room. Interesting paintings around the building. Nice pool. Nice outdoor picnic area. Has laundry facility. Continental breakfast. Some breakfast items are in the freezer and needs to be microwaved...Interesting coffee stirrers...."
