Solid choice for Fukushima City

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sankyo. The location is about a 10-minute or shorter walk from the main station and there are plenty of restaurant options nearby. The room was fine. We stayed for 2 nights and opted to get breakfast at the hotel our final morning, which was good.

The hotel was good. The room was big enough, and had a bathtub and fridge, and the other usual amenities. I didn't have a meal included, but I did buy one 1400 Yen breakfast buffet, and it was really good. The only 'negative' was the walking distance from the JR station, but that was how I picked it, also because it was cheaper to rent. The nearest grocer wasn't convenient either, even a further walk than the JR station to reach a MaxValu/AEON type store.

Great place, 3 star, but like 4 star place. Awesome breakfast buffet, plenty of choices & variety. Japan type & other American too. Room size ok, note choices from hotel online websites might use different terminology than actual hotel descriptions for size. Super nice & helpful staff, like most places not much English speaking. Nice lobby, good WiFi, plenty of amenities, except no microwave. Note restaurant is only for breakfast. Check in & out mainly by machine, but people are there also. Plenty of food places near, a good ramen place is 100 meters away. Train station is big & multi level & confusing to get out to get to hotel. Also, note main hotel entrance is on the side street, not main road. Definitely recommend.

スタッフの方も気持ち良い対応で、おおむね快適に過ごさせていただくことができました。 2部屋利用でしたが、1部屋では就寝時に寒く感じ、調整できる掛け布団がなく、エアコンの温度を上げて（22→24度）対応した。 もう1部屋では逆に（22度設定ながら）暑かったのと、枕が高かった、との感想があった。
