"The front desk staff was super friendly"

"Stayed in the older part of the hotel. What I liked best was that the windows open, so you can cool the room down and have fresh air at night. The room was a decent size. Mini fridge in the room and a water bottle filling station down the hall. The front desk staff were not the most welcoming, but the bell captains were very friendly."

"This is a cool old hotel that has been modernized. I love the upper floor views and appreciate the friendly staff. The big bummer was that the bar and restaurant were closed. Also, the tub drain did not allow for drawing a bath. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay with yummy local restaurants nearby as well as decent car storage."

"The air conditioning did not work. The front desk said someone would fix it. I came back in the evening and it was never fixed. The room is clean. The bathrooms are motel-esque. And the rooms are small. The water refill station was questionable. The water had a very poor taste and the system is inefficient. However, I’d say for the price and safe location, I would stay here again."

"Overall the hotel was great. The staff are amazing and helpful. The breakfast is a buffet and has a variety of options. Pool is nice as well but too cold during this time. The rooms were clean tidy and decently spacious. Only issue is the wifi isn’t the greatest and at times slow."

"Good budget hotel. The room had definitely been cleaned and bed linens washed but one of the bed linens had gross stains and the bathroom was moldy. Very helpful staff!"

"Room was not clean whatsoever, there were brown curly hairs high up on the restroom ceiling, the floor of and the bathtub was brown. I also found little bits of black stuff on my bed, maybe that was just from the washer machines though it was like black soft pieces of cotton. One rude staff and the rest were great. Bring water as they don’t offer free water bottles which is a bit weird, elevator is very sketchy and closes very fast so watch out. "

"Parking is $30 a night & is not secure. The bed was very lumpy from being well used. The pillows were hard like rocks. You have to ring a doorbell every time you want inside. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy. I had surgery & wanted a good night sleep & a quiet place to come back to. The Queen Anne failed on both. We were put next to very loud people that insisted standing in the hallway talking loudly, which wasn’t the hotel fault but sure did sour me on it being quiet. My husband loved all the old furniture that it’s decorated with. Especially the beautiful carved pieces in the parlor."

"Agradecidos por el cambio de habitación y agua de cortesía a una más cómoda o amplia el punto que mejoraría o que no fue nuestro agrado, es el baño que está abierto o sin techo a la habitación y realmente salen todos los ruidos y olores llevamos 25 años juntos pero si es antihigienico y es un área con muchos pero muchos homeless lega un momento en que es muy incomoda el área donde está ubicado el hotel."
