"Short and sweet, in a great location. Great information, presented well, in central hallway on: each room, those involved in the establishment and the roles they play to making your visit enjoyable among other things. Room 1832 may need to TV as sooner or later will bump into it. Suggest removing box, flush mount only against wall (no armature), small shelf for receiver. "
"Our stay was great. This is a very nice place to stay. The staff is helpful and the room was clean. The only tip I have is there is a skylight, so if you are a light sleeper, bring a sleeping mask."
"We have stayed at the Westover Inn many times in the past but hadn't been back for a while. We always loved its setting in the quaint town of St.Mary's, close enough to Stratford to enjoy the Stratford Festival productions. The elegant inn appealed to us from the start. Some of the features are no longer available like the delightful breakfasts and lunches they used to serve. However, the bar and the lovely deck with tables and umbrellas are still there. We recently stayed in one of the rooms in the Manor and it was as pleasant as we remember. Everything was well maintained and very clean. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the parlour and we had a fantastic dinner in the pretty dining room, one of the few places that still uses white table cloths! The staff we met were excellent, interesting to chat with and very accommodating. The grounds seemed well maintained and allowed for a pleasant stroll. We were very happy to have our trip down memory lane at Westover and appreciate an atmosphere that is not the cookie-cutter type of hotel but a genuinely unique setting with a history and an appreciation of tradition. Thank you to the Westover owners and staff for our many happy times there."
"All the staff members were wonderful! We are at the restaurant twice and all our meal were amazing
My husband uses a wheelchair and there were some small challenges as it is an older property but staff were helpful and we were prepared for some of the issues"
"Excellent location for walking to all the shops and the riverfront in downtown Stratford. We could leave our vehicle in the free parking lot at the hotel for our entire stay. We only needed to drive to some of the distant theatres, but if you wanted you could use the hotel shuttle service instead of your own vehicle to get to the distant theatres. Rooms are clean and high quality and appear to be renovated recently. Beautiful restaurant."
"Mike and Mandy show pride of ownership in every detail. They are warm and friendly, offering lots of suggestions if needed. The property is beautiful, the pool is lovely and everything is well maintained. Very clean. We stay there every time we are in Stratford."
