"Owner was friendly and helpful but the hotel or B&B grossly overpriced! The neighborhood was away from the tourist area and the outside of the hotel was unappealing. The 10 minute walk to Darwin Street was in a poor section, an old mattress lying about. Breakfast was good. The reception area was poor. I have photos. Worth about $40 a night not the $110 l prepaid and could not cancel reservation "
"After we finally got checked in, turned the AC on and it was not cold. Owner told me it would cool down and to let her know if I didn't need it "cold like hers (friend's room) I would be fine but I could switch it in the morning. "We had a lovely night stay here. You’re on an island so some ants and bugs can be expected. This isn’t The Four Seasons so if you were looking for that you would be disappointed. What you will find staff willing to go above and beyond like Jonathan, who made our stay lovely. Love that you could just walk to the beach right behind the property. The peace and tranquillity you will find here is unmatched. I think this is the best place to stay on the island. We will definitely be returning. "
