The location is ideal but not if u have lots of luggage (I.e traveling around Ireland and this being the last stop). The parking is off site and u have to carry luggage up the first flight of steps. U have to wheel luggage down a cobblestone street the lift it up a few steps into the smallest lobby I’ve ever seen. After staying at other locations in Ireland this was the least favorite for us. Definitely focused on city location and not amenities or service.
I also left a few clothing items. When I realized it the next day I called and the staff said they’d mail them back to me. Yeah . . , that never happened. So the cost of the room was then doubled by losing $300USD in clothes.
The room was hot in July and had no air. There was a fan. Windows had to be open and it sits on the busiest street in Galway. So that wasnt ideal. Noisy.
Because it is in walking distance of some great attractions I gave it 2 stars. Otherwise I would have given It zero.
